Job Description

  • Recruitment Management: You will oversee recruitment from initial briefing to candidate onboarding, ensuring every step is handled with professionalism and care.
  • Bilingual Communication: Craft and translate job ads in both English and Japanese, ensuring clear communication with local and international candidates.
  • Candidate Sourcing: Utilize job boards, referrals, and community networks to find the best talent across hospitality and operational roles.
  • Interview Coordination: Schedule and conduct phone or video interviews, liaising between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Candidate Experience: Provide timely feedback, maintain accurate records, and ensure every applicant receives a positive experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Onboarding Support: Assist with offer letters, reference checks, and facilitate handovers to HR and accommodation teams.
  • Employer Branding: Represent HTM at career fairs, events, and educational programs, promoting our culture and opportunities.
  • Hiring Analytics: Track recruitment metrics and share insights to continuously improve hiring strategies.
  • Multitasking: Handle recruitment across multiple brands and seasons, adapting to changing priorities with efficiency.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with team members, management, and external stakeholders to ensure a seamless recruitment process.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Recruitment: Manage job openings from planning through to hiring, ensuring structured and timely workflows that support company goals.
  • Job Advertisement Development: Write engaging job postings in both English and Japanese to attract top talent while enhancing the company’s online presence.
  • Candidate Outreach: Source and engage with candidates through various platforms, using proactive networking strategies to meet recruitment targets.
  • Interview Facilitation: Conduct structured interviews, coordinate schedules, and ensure candidates are well-prepared and informed throughout the hiring journey.
  • Onboarding Coordination: Assist with documentation, reference checks, and transfer essential details to the HR team and other departments for smooth transitions.
  • Data Tracking: Maintain recruitment records, analyze trends, and propose improvements to streamline hiring processes and enhance efficiency.
  • Event Support: Participate in recruitment drives, community events, and employer branding initiatives to attract talent and raise awareness.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with operational teams and management to align hiring strategies with business needs and seasonal demands.

Requirements

  • Bilingual Proficiency: Fluent in either English or Japanese with strong conversational skills in the other; must be able to handle business communication effectively.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to write compelling job ads and communicate clearly with candidates and stakeholders in both languages.
  • Technical Tools: Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace for data management, file organization, and recruitment tracking.
  • Multitasking Ability: Capable of managing multiple job openings simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and prioritization.
  • Resourcefulness: A proactive approach to sourcing candidates and solving challenges through creativity and persistence.
